The series follows the fantasy adventures of a boy named Twenty-Fifth Bam who spent most of his life trapped under a vast and mysterious tower, with only his close friend, Rachel. The series follows the adventures of this boy as Rachel enters the tower, so Bam managed to open the door in it too.
