The film tells of Ben Garvey who works as a worker who lives a simple life with his wife Lisa and her daughter Katie. One day, Rick-Ben's brother was released from prison calling on Ben to join the gold theft in order to change their tragic lives. Rick, Phillips, and a security guard appear, but they die while Ben is executed for killing him. He was sentenced to death, but after his death, Ben works as a housekeeper for Father Ezra - Minister Angel in Dundee, Oregon, and discovers that his life has become truly tragic.
