The movie revolves around the USN Indianapolis ship that was blown up and sunk by a Japanese submarine. The disaster appeared to be serious with 300 crew members who drowned on the bottom of the Philippine sea. While waiting for a rescue in that period, these rescuers were subjected to extreme thirst, hunger, shark attacks and other challenges.
