The film is about Bastian, who goes to high school, where his father married another woman, her name is Nicole. Nicole seems unhappy as Bastian must actually escape to Fantasia, the fictional world in a book. Nicole seems to be turning on a different path when she inadvertently discovers the book and uses it to bomb Fantasy.
